The frame design with its twin fork legs, reinforcing plates, triangulated crown supports  

and CrMo construction give this unicycle considerably greater rigidity than a standard one.

 This rigidity helps in many ways; it increases the fine control of the wheel

which is needed for speed, reducing stress on the bearings

so increasing their life and gives better cornering by reducing uncontrollable twist.
